Betty Anderson Turner passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was a precious wife to Frank Turner, of 68 years, a caring mother to Fred Turner (Sheri) and Karen Houston (Brad), and affectionately known as "Bebbe" to Granddaughters Parker Kazee (Jonathan) and Lennon Lockamy (Alan) and Great-Grandsons Trace and Cyrus.
Betty was a devoted member of her church, Bethany Presbyterian, where she served on the Session, led puppet and bell ringing ministries, and ensured the community was nourished through the food bank. She found joy through creative measures both on canvas and in the kitchen. Together Betty and Frank enjoyed owning antique cars and with their Car Club participated in many local parades. Through the years, Betty welcomed many family and friends into her home and ensured their bellies and hearts were full.
The family will hold visitation on Sunday, January 12th from 2 to 4 PM at Andrew's Mortuary, 1617 Market Street. Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 13th, 11 AM at Bethany Presbyterian, 2237 Castle Hayne Road.
