Brenda Sue Lambert

January 25, 1958 to April 24, 2021

Brenda grew up in Falls Church, Virginia, and attended George C. Marshall High School until her senior year, when she relocated and graduated from Fauquier High School in 1976.

While living in Pimmit Hills in Falls Church she began her friendship with Robert Lambert at 14, became high school sweet hearts, and later married in August of 1986. Robert and Brenda went on to raise their family for 30 years in Chantilly, Virginia.

Brenda was a strong independent woman that worked hard caring for her family. As her boys grew older, she also worked as an office manager for 17 years at a Commercial Fire Protection Company. In retirement, she moved to Wilmington, North Carolina to pursue her love of the sun and beach.

She loved working in the garden, Jazzercize with the girls, long walks with her dog, searching for seashells in the sand and walking the loop at Wrightsville Beach. When she was not supporting her boys in their activities, you could find her and Robert on their motorcycles visiting wineries in Virginia and North Carolina with friends and family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Lambert of Wilmington, North Carolina; Son, Shawn Turner and fiancé Lydia Elder; Son, Scott Lambert and Wife Jennifer Lambert; Grandchildren, Kylie Jarmon, Lucas Lambert, Dylan Lambert; Father, Cedric (Janie) Holloman; Mother, Claudette Holloman; Brother, George (Bonnie) Holloman; Brother, Stevie (Sandy) Holloman; Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. My heart and prayers go out to you Robert, your family, her family and those that loved her. I always remember Brenda’s beautiful smile and laughter. We had some great times together. I came across this picture when we went to the beach. I hope that reflecting on the wonderful memories that you and Brenda shared will help with your grief. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

On a weekend visit to our home, we had finished with dinner and I said to Brenda let's go sit on the couch and rest. I took her hand and we went into the living room. I felt a little tap on my back and when I turned around Brenda was trying to tell me something. She said "all this ", "you" and then I got a big hug. Though she couldn't get the words out like she wanted to I knew she was thanking me for having her and Robert for the visit. I could see the love and appreciation in her eyes.

Robert - thinking of you during this difficult time and sending my sympathies for such an amazing woman gone too soon. While I never had the chance to really know Brenda, I saw/met her at several Intelsat functions. That woman had a presence! How she shined! With a radiant smile that lit up her face. I will always remember looking at her and I couldn’t help but smile myself.
