Sue was born November 17, 1941, in Wilmington, NC to the late Gustav Fowler and Katie Skipper Fowler.
She loved the Atlanta Braves, Jeff Gordon and Conway Twitty.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Artis “Buster” Harrison, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Tammy Harrison; sister, Joyce Spiegelberg and brother, Gustav “Gus” Onzie Fowler, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Artis “Pete” Harrison; children, Sandy Alford (Joe), John Harrison and Karen Harvey (Scott); grandchildren, Michael Owens, John Harrison, Jr., Jessica Harrison, Joshua Harrison, Julia Harrison, David Messer, Jr. and Kaylee Beers and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. The family will receive visitors one hour prior beginning at 10am.
