Carolyn Howell Cook

Carolyn was born February 6, 1937, in Rocky Mount, NC to William B. Howell and Eunice B. Howell.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard A. Cook. She was a loving Mother to Steven (Sherri) and Jennifer (Ben). She is also survived by her sisters, Nathleen Capps and Ann Wheeler (Tommy), as well as several nieces and nephews. The real joys of her life were her grandchildren, Chad, Kayla, and Safia, and her great-grandson, Ryan.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers, William (Bill) Howell and Thomas (Tommy) Howell, and her beloved grandson, Josh Cook.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff that treated Carolyn over these last several months, as well as the staff of Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11th, from 4pm-5pm at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 5pm.
