Carolyn Davis Price

Carolyn Davis Price 83, of Rose Hill, NC, was born in Duplin County on March 29th, 1942. The daughter of Wayne Lee Batts and Rosa Bell Carter Batts. She passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 9th, 2025. She had 10 cherished siblings. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Sutton Davis, George Nave, and John Price; son, Michael Curtis Davis; and daughter-in-law, Treasa Combs Davis.

She is survived by daughter, Donna Skipper of the home; sons, Keith Davis of Georgetown, KY, Dwight Davis of Rose Hill, NC, and Curtis Davis (Sherrie) of Piney Flats, TN; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She began her career as a hairdresser for 32 years. In her retirement, she loved spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall of Burgaw, NC, although she attended several others, including Spartanburg, SC and Wilmington, NC congregations. She will be dearly missed by the many lives she touched.

Celebration of Life is to be held at 3:00pm Saturday, August 30th, at Southern Bliss Grill, Wallace Highway, Teachey, NC.
