Clara Mae Duncan

She was born on November 29, 1933 in Tabor City, NC, daughter of the late Annie Jane Manning Duncan and Lee Duncan.

Clara was a supervisor at Century Mills, Inc where she retired after 32 years of service. She was a member of the College Acres Baptist Church, enjoyed to work outside in her garden and growing flowers but her real love was her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Duncan in 1996 and brother, Arthur (Bill) Duncan

Clara is survived by her son, Ronnie Lee Duncan and wife Linda; daughter, Judy Duncan all of Wilmington; sisters, Gayle Duncan Grainger of Loris, SC and Jeanette Duncan Jenrette and Dean Shelley Duncan both of Tabor, NC; 3 grandchildren, Johnny Irving, Tracie Rogers and Jeremy Duncan and 4 great grand daughters, Brenna, Kaitlon, Madison and Jaylynn.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive Wilmington, NC 28403.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday July 6, 2012 at the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
