Clyde Moore Cannon

Clyde Moore Cannon left this earth on September 20, 2009 to reside with his heavenly Father. He was born January 18, 1946 to his earthly parents William Anderson and Annie Moore Cannon. He is survived by two sisters Janie Cannon Gaylord and husband Jerry of Cornelius, N.C. and Christine Cannon Larrick of the home. Two nieces Christine Gaylord Hartsfield and husband Mike of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Susan Gaylord Grewell and husband Kindell of Huntsville, N.C. Two great nieces Lauren and Jessica Hartsfield of Virginia Beach. Three great nephews Teague, Tye and Tate Grewell of Huntsville, N.C. He is also survived by many cousins whom he has loved since childhood and his very good lifetime friend Billy Flake and wife Jeannie. Clyde took over the business of Cannon Oil Company when his father retired. He carried on until he became too ill to continue. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Many thanks to all of the fine staff and friends he made while in the care of Davis Health Care they made his finial months happy and fun. A celebration of Clyde's life will be held 3pm Wednesday September 23, 2009 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel by Pastor Clay Ritter of Calvary Chapel. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the activities department at Davis Health Care Center.
