

Cora Eloise Potter was born in Brunswick County, NC, the daughter of the late Martin Van and Florence Skipper. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Potter and son Glenn Potter.
Cora Eloise is survived by son, Jerry Potter and his wife, Mary Ann Potter of Gastonia, NC and daughter, Ramona Marsh of Greensboro, NC, her daughter-in-law Nelda Potter of Greensboro, NC, her son-in-law Ray Marsh of Traphill, NC, three grandchildren, Tara Talluto, Jerrie Lynn Holmes, and James Potter, great grandchildren, Megan and Joey Talluto, Michael and Elizabeth Holmes, and Waylon and Seth Potter. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Cora Eloise was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Wilmington, NC where she was an active member of the choir. She worked as a sales associate, but taking care of family was her proudest accomplishment. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, crafts, and playing bingo with friends.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 13th at Oleander Memorial Gardens in Wilmington, NC.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Clapps Nursing Center in Pleasant Garden for their loving care of Cora Eloise.
