Hattie, I wanted to thank you and David for your friendship with my brother Howard Elkins of Clarkton. 

David and I spent time together when he went to Law School at UNC-Chapel Hill when I was an undergraduate there. He saw himself doing more than being just an attorney. He clearly went on to do great things.

Howard passed away on June 30th of this year.

Take care of yourself and family.

Nina and I look back fondly on the times we enjoyed together while serving as missionaries in Kenya. May the Lord bring comfort and peace to Hattie, Maria, and David, Jr., during this sad time.

I have often thought how David and you all have been doing since he retired from  College Square office Mall. David often talk about his Loving family and his eyes would light up when he knew he had a call from Maria. May the Lord watch over you in your time of sorrow and our prays and thoughts are with you.

I knew Brother Morgan during the time he served overseas while I worked in Church of God World Missions.  Please know that I am praying for Brother Morgan's family during this time of sorrow.

David was one of a kind; he will be greatly missed. We will always cherish our memories; Hattie & the children are in our prayers.
