

Dean was born on September 6, 1935 in Horry Co., SC, and son to the late Gordon and Ruth Mae Fowler. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Long and brothers, Gordon Fowler and Ray Fowler.
Dean loved to fish and had won three Bass Master Trophies, loved music he would sing and play his guitar. He was a longtime member of Delco Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Dean is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judy Fowler; son, Dean C. Fowler, Jr.; grandson, Carson Alan Fowler; daughters, Pamela Fowler and Tammy Fowler Hernandez and her husband, Francisco Hernandez; sister, Ernestine Wallace; children: Jonathan Haselden and his wife Kerri, Anthony Haselden and his wife Anastasia, Joy Smith and her husband Jeff Smith and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9am to 11am on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Delco Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 283 Kaiser Road, Delco, NC 28436.
Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Delco Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Justin D. Nichols officiating. Graveside Service will follow at Delco Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
