Elizabeth Ann Callahan, 65, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2009 at her residence. She was born on June 14, 1943 to the late Thomas and Paula Cummings. Elizabeth was a native New Yorker who moved to NC in 1999. For nine years, she worked with the Landfall Property Owners Association as Human Resource Manager. She was a devoted member and officer of Water of Life Lutheran Church. Elizabeth was a wonderful wife to her husband of 43 years, an amazing mother to her children and a loyal friend to those who knew her. She loved all aspects of life and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her husband, Bill Callahan; daughter, Amy Callahan; son, Robert Callahan and his significant other, Tiffany Lassiter; grandson, Cayden Callahan and sister Marycharlotte Cummings. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00pm, Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel.
