Ernest was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife, Randi Little Smith; son, Jason Smith; daughter, Brysen Smith and granddaughter, Avery Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Andrews Valley Chapel.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior.
