Frances Rebecca Peay Lewis

Frances Rebecca Peay Lewis departed her Earthly Life on March 24, 2015. She was born on July 25, 1923, to Jim and Sally Peay. She was the tenth born child in a family of eleven children, growing up on a farm in Pender County, NC. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Lewis, her parents, and ten siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Lewis Eggleston and husband, Ronny of Mint Hill, NC; her granddaughter, Molly Rebecca Easter and husband, Ryan of Locust, NC; and her granddaughter, Mallory Elizabeth Eggleston of Hong Kong. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Cael Coryn Easter and Morgan Rosalie Easter of Locust, NC; her great-granddog, Ella Mac Eggleston; of Mint Hill, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Frances spent the last week of her life at Unlimited Possibilities in Mint Hill, NC, and the family would like to thank Crystal and Oddney for their care. The family would also like to thank Katie White, her friend of 30 years, who showered Frances with much love and care for the past several years. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington, NC, with Dr. Donnie Lovette officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the mortuary on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
