Jack Brinson, Jr.

Jack Brinson, Jr. 76, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at his home. Jack was born on January 12, 1939, in Onslow County, NC, son of the late Jack Brinson, Sr. and Linday Brinson. He is also preceded in death by two sisters. Jack was the founder and owner of Brinson & Sons Heating & Air, Inc. for 41 years. He was an expert gardener and loved to spend many hours tending to his vegetable garden. He also was an avid hunter. Most of all Jack loved being surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Jack is survived by his wife of 52 years, Katherine Brinson; his three sons, Eddie and wife Patsy, Greg and wife Brenda, and Tim and wife Kim; six grandchildren, Jackie, Hannah, Sam, Kaylyn, Andrew and Madison; and five sisters and two brothers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 6, at Scotts Hill Baptist Church, 185 Scotts Hill Loop Road, Wilmington, NC. Rev. Jimmie Suggs, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
