James Lee Cochran

James Lee Cochran, 57, of Currie, NC, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2010 while surrounded by his family following a brief illness. He was born on September 2, 1952 in New Martinsville, WV, the son of the late Clarence Lee and Wilma Elizabeth Riggenbach Cochran. James retired with the rank of MSgt. from the US Air Force after twenty years of service and then spent another nineteen years working for WECT and Fox. He was a member of Currie Community Baptist Church. James will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Surviving is his wife of over thirty-six years, Constance Cochran; two daughters, Kelly Ramos and husband Ulysses, and Erin Cochran; two sisters, Carol Maury and husband Jim, Linda Howell and husband Lee Roy; three grandchildren, Riley, Alyssa and Madelyn Ramos. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, May 3, 2010 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel by Rev. Jerry Worley.
