In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his longtime life partner, Gloria Reiner.
James is survived by his sons: Jonathan Wehnert of Wilmington, NC, James Wehnert and wife Tiffany of Laurel Hill, NC, Chris Reiner of Wilmington, N.C, Brian Reiner and wife Brenda of Wilmington, NC, Larry Reiner and wife Crystal of Missouri; his daughter Pam Reiner of Ohio and special caregiver Seasun Jones of Wilmington, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7pm on Friday August 4, 2023 at Johnny Mercers Pier, 23 E. Salisbury Street, Wrightsville Beach, NC.
