Janice Taylor Roberts

Janice Taylor Roberts, 74, of Riegelwood, died Friday, June 27, 2014, surrounded by friends and family. She was born March 2, 1940, in Cordland, NY, to the late Vernon Taylor and Dorothy Nye Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Roberts and two brothers, Jimmy and Benny Taylor. Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Pridgen; son, Steven Roberts; granddaughter, Lisa Moore (Channing); mother, Beulah Taylor; sisters, Sheila Brown (Abe) and Sherry Hughes (Freddy); brothers, Robert Taylor (Sarah) and Bruce Taylor; two great grandchildren, Saige and Myleigh Moore; special niece and friend, Sue Larkins (Marshall) and a special son-in-law, Gary Pridgen. A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Monday, June 30, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Delco, with Rev. Sam Gore and Rev. Jerome Bullard officiating. The family will receive visitors beginning at 11am, prior to the service. Burial will follow in Delco Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis Potter, Jr., Mike Larkins, Channing Moore, Marshall Larkins, Gary Pridgen and Greg Davis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delco Cemetery.
