

She was born in Mullins, South Carolina on January 28, 1937 to Rex and Sarah Wunderlich. Jean was proceeded in death by Rex Wunderlich (Father), Sarah Wunderlich (Mother), Frances Ferguson (Sister), and Shirley Arrants Grygiel (Best Friend).
Jean worked for Textilease where she retired after 44 years of service. Jean loved basketball, football, baseball, animals, working in the yard and spending time with her family and close friends.
Jean is survived by: Marie Bryant (Sister), Tony McCue (Son), and her grandchildren Rebecca (Charlotte, NC) Terry and Shari Workman, Amber Workman and JP Wilkins, Chaz McCue, Cade McCue, and her great grandchildren: Pamela Workman, MacKayla Workman, Aubree Workman, Savannah Workman, Colton Thompson and Corey Thompson.
A visitation will be held on Thursday November 30, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412 and will be followed by a graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park. At Mrs. Jean's request this will be an informal service Please dress casual, she wants everybody to be comfortable and not to make a fuss.

Jean’s family would like to thank Kelli Woodall, Kathy Chaulk, and the staff at Liberty Commons for all of the love and care they gave Jean.
