

Jerry Rogers Robbins, 71, of Wilmington passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at his home. He was born on November 24, 1942 in Wilmington to the late Rogers A. Robbins and Thelma Whitley Robbins. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Donna Robbins; son, Brad Robbins (Maria); daughter, Shelly Robbins Ciffo (Kenny); son, Jeff Coward; grandchildren, Todd & Lilly Robbins; the mother of his children, Betty Robbins; and sister, Cynthia Robbins Johnson. Jerry attended Wilmington College. He honorably served his country in the North Carolina National Guard for 20 years and retired as a Major. He owned Town and Country Mobile Home Park. Jerry ran Ogden Contract Post Office for 11 years he also owned Confederate Gun Shop. He loved to fish and hunt. He especially loved to goose hunt in Canada. But above all he loved to golf. He attended the Masters every year since 1998. He loved spending time with his two grandchildren and he loved to teach Todd to target shoot and attend military shows together. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Entombment will follow the visitation at Oleander Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pearsall Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3902 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28403
