Katherine "Kathy" White Mullen

Katherine “Kathy” White Mullen, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on August 02, 1949, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Kathy’s journey was one marked by dedication, compassion, and unwavering faith. Kathy was preceded in death by her father Edwin Bennett White, Jr. and her mother Elmer Shepard White.

For 35 years, Kathy worked as an Executive Admin Specialist at General Electric. Her commitment to her work and the people around her left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike. She brought diligence and warmth to every task, becoming a valued presence in the workplace.

Beyond her professional life, Kathy gave generously of her time and energy to causes close to her heart. She volunteered for many different activities over the years, but it was her time spent at the USO that held special meaning for her. There, she found joy in supporting service members and their families—a reflection of her deep appreciation for others and her desire to give back.

Kathy was known by those who knew her as a loving and caring person. She always had time to help and support others, offering kindness without hesitation. Her presence brought comfort and strength to many lives.

At the time of her passing, Kathy was surrounded by love. Her devoted husband Bob stood faithfully by her side as she departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ—a testament to the enduring bond they shared.

A private service will be held at a later date. 

May Kathy’s memory bring peace and comfort to all who were touched by her generous spirit.
