She was 93. She was fiercely independent. She was silly. She was vibrant. She was hysterical. She was deliberate and intentional. She loved so very deeply and in turn was so very loved. She was a mother to her one and only son, Lowell Thomas Liborio, who preceded her in death, and throughout the years held a close relationship with her daughter-in law, Maggie Liborio Landreth (Grey). She was a doting grandmother to her two surviving granddaughters, Megan Liborio (Ashley) & Morgan Davis (Josh), and her grandsons Chad Pearson (Tina) & Cameron Pearson (Cameron). Her great-grandchildren brought her incredible joy. To Amanda, Jayden, Marleigh, Savannah, Taylor, Harley, Owen, Jack, and Sam, "O'Granny" gave delightful memories of playfulness, laughter, mischievousness, and especially her love.
In as much as she loved her family, her neighbors, DJ, Lori, Laila, and Sailor Medeiros, held a very special place in her heart.
Lois P. Liborio, "Granny," of Wilmington NC, finished her earthly journey on 7/25/21 to finally be reunited with her husband of 64 years, Ernest Liborio and her son, Thomas Liborio. She was a member of Wrightsville Beach United Methodist Church and leaves behind an abundance of loved ones who will daily miss her presence on this earth.
