Lois Moore Morey of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
Lois was born December 2, 1933 in Wilmington, NC to the late Dallas I. Moore and Margaret E. Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Morey.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Moore, and her sister, Juanita Blake, and her daughter-in-law, Ginger Holland.
Lois was an avid book reader who also enjoyed gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her children, Joseph William Holland, Jr. and wife, Lucy, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Danny Holland of Wake Forest, NC, and Patti Holland of Wilmington, NC, and four grandchildren, Kelly Mroczka (Bill), Lesli Singleton, William Holland (Kati), and Joseph Holland (Shannon), and three great-grandchildren, Madison Petersen, Sterling Singleton, and Bailey Paz Holland.
A private memorial service will be held at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
