Louise Maready Norris

LOUSIE MAREADY NORRIS Louise Maready Norris, 74, of Richlands, NC passed away Monday, September 15, 2008. She was born in Duplin County, NC on January 24, 1934 to the late Vaugh Maready and Alexis Batts Maready. Louise worked in food service as a waitress and hostess for many years in Onslow County and had most recently retired from Onslow County Schools. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Norris of the home, one son, Robert Brown Julie; three daughters, Linda Costella James, Kathy Nuckles Gary, and Bonnie Hanes James; 13 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren; and two step daughters, Dianne Hamilton and Debbie Langley Jerry. One sister, Betty Jean Jones, and four brothers, Leslie, Jim, Vernon, and Cecil Maready. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd. Wilmington, officiated by Rev. Wilbur Horrell. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in Wilmington. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 12 noon until the service begins on Thursday. The family will be gathering at the home of Jerry and Debbie Langley, 7615 Mallow Rd., Bayshore Estates, Wilmington, NC.
