Lucky was born April 24, 1956 in Wilmington, NC son of the late Arthur Eugene Cook and Wilma Clee Coley Cook. He is also preceded in death by Budd Ganon Newell, Ethel Alisa Cleaveland, Wilma Clee Newell, Angela Lynn Newell and Linda Marie Cook.
Lucky enjoyed fishing, truck driving, God's word, playing the guitar and a good card game.
He proudly served in the United States Army and Marines.
Lucky is survived by his wife, Ella Elizabeth Cook; sisters: Sherry Quinn, Weena Yevette Newell and Tracy Denise Perry; daughters, Cassandra Darlene Vosper and Crystal Michelle Cook; son, Budd Ben Randolph Cook and ex wife, Victoria Ellen Cook.
A memorial service for Lucky will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
