Margaret Biggs Piner "Peggy"

Peggy was born on May 25th, 1917 in Brunswick County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Walter Biggs, Sr. and Margaret Rowell Biggs. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Frank Piner, Sr. her sister, Flora Biggs Bass and her brother, Walter C. Biggs, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Frank Rogers Piner, Jr. of Wilmington, North Carolina, sister-in-law Katherine Godwin and husband Bill of Wilmington, North Carolina and sister-in-law Betty Biggs and brother-in-law Alton Bass.

Margaret was the oldest living charter member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends from 7pm until 8pm on Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 South College Road, Wilmington, North Carolina.  

The funeral service will be at 1pm Thursday, January 21st, 2016 at Andrews Valley Chapel. Interment will follow in Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery, 4124 Mount Misery Road NE, Leland, North Carolina.
