
She was born October 17, 1949, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Bernard G. Dubay and Nancy Faulman Dubay.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Randy Russell and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee Russell and Eleanor Ahrens Russell.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Russell; daughters, Keri Ann Rutland (David) and Jodi Marie Smith (Kenrick); grandchildren, Ava Smith, Harrison Rutland, Maggie Smith, Brycen Smith, Nora Rutland; sister, Penny Young (John); sisters-in-law, Peggy Walz (Bill), Kathy Russell and Jan Meinzer (Fred) and many nieces and nephews.
Margo graduated from Douglas McArthur High School and Michigan State University. Margo was an elementary school physical education teacher. She taught in Bridgeport, MI for many years.
She volunteered many hours at her daughters’ schools and The Junior League of Saginaw, MI and countless hours helping her husband as he moved with his employer.
Margo will be cremated and laid to rest at the memorial garden at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. A memorial service will take place at 11am, Saturday, May 23, 2026, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
