Mary Catherine Northrop Marlowe

Mary Catherine Northrop Marlowe, died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Liberty Commons. She was born in Whiteville, NC on April 23, 1920, daughter of the late Milton A. and Thelma Lennon Northrop. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert E. Marlowe, Sr.; sons, James Elliott Marlowe and Robert Eugene Marlowe, Jr.; brother, Milton A. Northrop, Jr. and sister, Lucy Mayo Landrum. Surviving Mrs. Marlowe are her children, Catherine M. O’Quinn and husband Robert of Wrightsville Beach, NC, William A. Marlowe and wife Darlene of Wilmington, NC, and daughter-in-law, Louise S. Marlowe of Arlington, VA, grandchildren, Jennifer Guy Rogge and husband, Timothy of Lakeside, Montana, James Richard Marlowe of Front Royal, VA, Robert Nathaniel Marlowe of Wilmington, NC, and Whitney O’Quinn Bullock and husband, Poova of South Pasadena, CA, great-grandchildren, Saila M. Rogge, Sarabeth C. Rogge, and Sierra E. Bullock; brother, Robert E. Northrop and wife Celeste of Casselberry, FL, sister-in-law, Doris H. Northrop of Casselberry, FL, and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Elizabeth A. Roberts officiating.
