Matthew Joseph Weaver

Matthew ""Matt"" Joseph Weaver, age 31, of Castle Hayne, NC, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center. He was born on April 22, 1978 in Wilmington, NC, the son of Henry Weaver and the late Bonnie Weaver. Also remembered are his grandfathers, Rufus Henry Weaver, Sr. and Leslie R. Bellows, both of who preceded him in death. Matt worked as a computer analyst and will be remembered for his devotion to family and friends and as a loving father. Surviving in addition to his father is his stepmother, Traci Weaver; grandmothers, Hattie Weaver and Mary Bellows; the love of his life, Melissa Palmer; three beautiful children, Damian, Ella and Jackson; two brothers, Hank Weaver Mary and Bobby Weaver Stacy; two step-sisters, Cherish Vinson Kevin and Shelby Lewis fiance David; one step-brother Keith Lewis fiancée Christina; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Monday, April 19, 2010 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express a special note of thanks to the wonderful staff at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
