Morgan Alyssa Sadler

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, and friend Morgan Alyssa Sadler. Morgan was born on April 27th, 1996 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania and departed this life on June 21st, 2025 in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Morgan is survived by her mother, Margaret Murnane Sadler; father and stepmother, John Sadler and Melissa Cook; and younger sister, Lauren Sadler.

Morgan graduated from Garner High School in 2014, and she worked in the restaurant industry throughout her professional career. She valued the relationships and lifelong connections she made with customers and coworkers. Morgan never met a stranger, and she was known for her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. When Morgan wasn’t working, she enjoyed embracing her creativity by painting, listening to music, and cooking up new spicy recipes. She was always caught up on the new true-crime documentaries and podcasts, and she was constantly eager to share about the random facts she would learn in her findings. Morgan also devoted much of her life to providing the best home possible for the many pets she acquired over the years.

Morgan's loved ones remember her vibrant, feisty, radiant personality that could never be duplicated. She had the extraordinary capability to make those around her feel seen, accepted, and loved for exactly who they were. She lived her life with grace, humility, and unimaginable strength. Morgan embodied selflessness in the truest form, always putting the needs of others before her own- whether it be for a stranger or one of her many rescued pets. She had the unique ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face- no matter what kind of day she was having herself. Morgan was an authentic free spirit, and we know she is spending eternity soaking up every ounce of sunshine and embracing endless good beach days.
