Nancy Brown Bobo

Nancy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald H. Bobo, their two sons Matthew C. Bobo (Julie) and Mark W. Bobo (Mandy), and five grandchildren, Jackson, Sydney, Rachel, Lily and Audrey. She is also survived by her two brothers, Stanley M. Brown (Angela) and Kenneth T. Brown (Lisa), along with three nieces, four nephews and their children.

A 1971 graduate of the Forsyth Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Nancy served as a Registered Nurse in NC, SC and VA prior to retirement. She was a beloved member of the healthcare team who worked effortlessly meeting the needs of others.

Nancy’s life was centered around her family and her faith in God. With a compassionate heart and a smile that would light up a room, she was a true friend that was always willing to listen. Nancy was genuinely interested in others and showed kindness to all.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (16 North 16th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401) with Interment to follow in the church’s Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts, in her honor, be made to the St. Paul's Capital Campaign Fund.
