He was born on August 11, 1939, the son of the late Frederick Pope Henderson and Ruby Georgia Whittington Hart Henderson. Also remembered is his wife, Ellyn Langston Henderson who preceded him in death.
Surviving is his sister, Mildred Henderson Hughes (Charles); numerous nieces and nephews; dedicated friends, Linda Batson and Ted and other extended family and friends.
Ray was a veteran of the US Navy and spent many hours pursuing his love of fishing when not at work.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Sea Lawn Memorial Park with Masonic Rites and Military Honors accorded.
