Rhonda Carol Kimble Smith, 56, of Wilmington, NC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2009. She was born in Clarke Co., GA on March 28, 1953, the daughter of Eleanor Payne Kimble Barefoot and the late Rodney Kimble. Surviving is her husband, Benny Smith; daughter, Robin Johnson and fiancé, Scott Szczech; son, Wayne Smith and wife, Megan; step-son, Benji Smith and wife, Beth; six grandchildren; her mother, Eleanor Kimble Barefoot; step-father, Wilbert Barefoot; four sisters, Wanda Hatmaker and husband, Leroy, Cindy Fullerton and husband, Tom, Denise Lowe, and Donna Bledsole and husband, Benny; step-brother, Steven Barefoot; step-sister, Debbie Williemee; sister-in-law, Jayne Brogdon and husband, Steve; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and two uncles. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Monday, May 4, 2009 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, May 4, 2009 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.
