Robert Howard Hall

Robert was born on February 7, 1932 in Wooster, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Hiner Hall and Lester Hall; brother, Gene and nephew, Scott.

He served in the United State Air Force and was married on August 10, 1954 in Richmond, Indiana. He was employed at Lawson Milk Co. for 12 years and Goodman Beverage for 15 years before moving to North Carolina. He ran BJ’s Restaurant in Hampstead, then went to work for Suburban Propane where he retired, but went to work for another 10 years at Paxton Co. in Wilmington.

Robert loved his family, dog, football and friends. He had a great achievement by being recognized by the State of Ohio Senate with an honor for Heroism for saving a young man’s life in a home explosion.

Robert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet Sue Hall; daughter, Joy Renee Hall; son, Mark Alan Hall and his wife Kelly Marie Hall; grandsons, Hunter Patrick Hall and Hudson Robert Hall all of Wilmington, NC.

Services will be held private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
