Robert Willard Post

He was born in Belleville, NJ on November 28, 1928 to the late William Joseph and Mary Louise Lewis Post.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Jane Jobin Post, and his second wife of 23 years, Neri Anne Hillmon Post, and his brother, Edward Post.

Bob was a retired engineer from AT&T in New York City after almost 40 years of service. He served his country honorably in the United States Army in communications.

He lived in New Jersey his entire life until 2001 when he relocated to the Lake Renaissance area of Wilmington, NC.

Bob enjoyed bird watching, photography, cars, jazz music, travel and new technologies of all kinds. Living on Lake Renaissance gave him special joy with its scenic view, bird wildlife and neighborhood friends.

He is survived by seven daughters, Claudia Peek (Dean) of Garner, NC, Donna Guglielmo of Wilmington, NC, Jo Ann Law (James) of Canton, GA, Janet Blevin of Wilmington, NC, Laura Washkau of Dunellen, NJ, Ruth Rillo (Thomas) of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Katherine Madden of Newton, NJ; two step sons, Paul R. Thomas and John Thomas, both of Tulsa, OK; step daughter, Nan Guarini of Hackettstown, NJ; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
