Sallie Marie Tribou

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Pennie Selby, son Brad Selby, stepfather Robert Vogelin.

Sallie was a graduate of New Hanover High School’s class of 1959 and the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. Among many other accomplishments, she was a published author who loved to travel.

Ms. Tribou is survived by her daughters: Paige Tribou and fiancé Lou Thompson of Wilmington, Amy Vogelin Tribou of Wilmington and Megan Leigh Rockenhauser of Hampstead, NC; sons: Rod Tribou and wife Leah of Hampstead, NC and Tanner Tribou and wife Carrie of Wilmington and grandchildren: Bradleigh Tribou, Katie von Hofen, Sierra Tribou, Harrison Tribou, Kameron von Hofen, Savannah Tribou, Reese Clark, Smith Tribou, Lily Tribou, Severin Tribou and Skye Clark.

A Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Coble Funeral Chapel, 1155 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am at Oleander Memorial Gardens Sunrise Mausoleum, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC.
