Stanley Steven Doherty, age 65, of Wilmington, died July 22, 2016. Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, November 27, 1950, to the late Phillip and Rose Mary Doherty.
Stanley was an Army veteran, proud to have served his country. After serving, he became an electrician, eventually starting his own company.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Annette C. Doherty; daughter, Christine Tanhueco and her special friend, Dean Sasser, of Wilmington; son, Joseph Doherty; two sisters, Andrea Hall and Louise Doherty, both of Wilmington; two brothers, James Doherty of Wilmington and Wayne Doherty and wife, Peggy, of Portland, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mary Rudyk and Susan Segur, RN at Senior Health Associates, and Brandy Basso, RN with Liberty Hospice for all of their care and support.
There will be no memorial services at this time.
