Sue Nell Griffin Bridge

Born July 25, 1926 in Unionville, NC she is a daughter of Joseph Boyd Griffin and Mary Pauline Martin Griffin. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Albert W. Bridge, and her son, Albert W. Bridge, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Hardison (Bill) and Polly Bridge, all of Jacksonville, NC; and her granddaughters, Courtney Cloninger (Josh) and Hilary Davis (Robert); her great-grandchildren, Griffin, Morgan and Makenzie; a special son, Houston Hendrix (Pat) and a special daughter, Pam Thomas.

Sue was a longtime educator for over 30 years. She set a great example of living and loving well and she was an inspiration to many during her life.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 22 at Wrightsville United Methodist Church with a visitation following the service.
