Remember the best times—the laughter, the sound of my voice humming in your ear as we slow danced together to our favorite song, “I’ll Go On Loving You” by Alan Jackson.
I loved holding you tight. You are my Queen, and you treated me like a King.
Continue the good life we lived while I was strong. Know that my mind is at ease and my soul is at rest, remembering how truly blessed I was.
Go on with your life; don’t worry about the falls. I miss you dearly.
Never forget the night we first met—a nightclub filled with beach music—when I crossed the room, held out my hand, and said, “Hi, my name is Wayne Ross.” (June 18, 1998)
Until the day we meet again, and dance once more,
Listen for my whisper, “I love you To the Moon and Back My Queen”
Written in Wayne’s voice, from his heart—now silenced
