William "Bill" Hendrix Parker of Wilmington died Monday April 1, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born May 11, 1946 in Wilmington NC son of the late William Hendrix Parker and Hazel Branch Parker. Bill was semi retired from B. Parker Protective and was currently employed with Wal Mart as an electronics associate. Surviving is his wife Edith Parker, step daughters, Melanie Ellis and husband Pete of Wilmington and Laura Courtney and husband Bruce of Castle Hayne, grandchildren, Trey McLean, Christopher McLean, Nick Courtney and Elizabeth Courtney, great grandchildren, Olivia DeJarnette, Haley McLean and Bradley "best buddy" McLean. The family will receive friends form 6pm until 7pm Thursday April 4, 2013 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. A memorial service will follow a 7pm at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel.
