He was born March 6, 1950, the son of the late Jerry Reeves and Sophia Bogel.
Dan served for four years in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired from VF Jeanswear in 2011 with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol, his son Will and wife Catherine, and his brother Jerry and wife Beccy. He had many other family members that were very near and dear to him.
There will be a gathering, Memorial and Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 7. We will all gather at 1 o’clock with a memorial service to begin at 2 o’clock. This will take place at Andrews Funeral Home in Hampstead located at 17730 Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443. There will be a celebration of life at Dan and Carol’s home immediately following the service.
