He was born on July 26, 1938, in Dallas, TX, the son of the late Wilton O’Dell Deets, Sr. and Lillian Arbell Arnold.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah Janice Deets; son Wilton O’Dell Deets, III and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Deets; granddaughter, Alexander Deets, grandson, Britton Deets, granddaughter, Chloe Thompson and husband Cameron; brother, Dub McWhorter and sister-in-law, Nita McWhorter.
Wilton was an avid bow hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was also an accomplished artist, award winning motorcycle racer, successful entrepreneur and businessman. Most of all he was a devoted husband, exuberantly proud father and grandfather.
