Benjamin Wayne Dennison

Benjamin “Buzz” Wayne Dennison passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of 82 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John Henry and Jessie Reynolds Dennison; siblings Larry, Thomas, Gary, Jeff, Donna, Faye, June and Dawn; a grandson Joshua Warner Brown and a great-great grandson Carter Eli Arias.

Benjamin is survived by his five daughters; Debbie Dennison Powell and husband, Lee, of Florida, Denise Williams of Florida, Cheri Manasseri of New York, Audrey Cavaliero and husband, Rocco, of New York and Jessica Carraway of North Carolina; three sons, Ben Dennison, Jr. and fiancé, Earlena Felder, of New York, Bret Christopher of New York and Jeff Dennison and wife, Rachel, of North Carolina; five sisters, Florence, Joan, Dixie, Christine and Lynn; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a son-in-law, Cory Carraway of North Carolina.

Ben loved tinkering, working and talking about automobiles, and reminiscing with family and friends. He spent the later years of his life being very active, finding new things to work on and spending his days with his three grandsons Zach, Ian and Preston.

Anyone who knew and loved Ben was instantly intrigued by his stories about the good ole days, and of his many adventures across the country. He always checked in on his family and friends and will be missed more than words can say.
