Surviving are her son, Andy Davis and wife, Jan Davis, and their children Connor and Zach Davis; her daughter, Jennifer Barnes and her children Madison Barnes and Taylor Manning and husband, Trey Manning; one sister, Jennie Clossen; and one brother, Phillip Richard Proctor and wife, Tammy.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua and Virginia Proctor, and three brothers, Donnie Proctor, Travis Proctor and Mark Proctor.
Brenda was employed by Wells Elementary School as a reading tutor for two years. She enjoyed beauty pageants and at the age of 24, she reigned as Miss Merry Christmas for Wilson. She also enjoyed Sunday lunches at her mother’s, spending time with family, playing pranks, dressing up in hats, sunglasses and jewelry, socializing and sweet tea. She was a loving and giving soul who was always funny and outspoken. A soul like hers shined so bright and will continue on in her children. The memories shared with her, no matter how big or small, will be remembered and cherished forever.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center for all the compassionate care and support provided to our mother throughout the years. A special thanks is extended to the nurses and staff of the second floor, along with social worker, Amy Whitener. You truly made a big difference in her daily life.
