Born in Wilson, NC, June 9, 1946. Gail worked at Wilson Technical Institute as a purchasing agent for 29 and a half years and attended Bible Missionary Baptist Church in Wilson.
Gail is survived by her daughters Sandi Davis (David) of Little River, SC, Robin Luper (Mike) of Eureka, NC; son, Scott Pender (Connie) of Goldsboro, NC; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a half-sister Wanda Moore (Gene) of Marshville, NC; and half-brother Garland Whitley Jr. (Barbara) of Fayetteville, NC. She also had two special neighbors, friends and caretakers. Kay Carter and DenMarie Marshall, both of Wilson, NC.
Gail is preceded in death by her son, Ken Pender, father Robert Lee Pittman, mother Doris Carver Whitley, and brother Rudy Lynn Pittman.
