JANIE E. BAKER Janie E. Baker, 68, wife of Willie T. Baker, of Wilson, went home to the Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2015. Janie was born in Wilson, January 30, 1947, a daughter of the late Silas E. and Irene Harrell Everette and had lived in Wilson all of her life. She is survived by her sons, Michael K. Baker of Wilson, and Willie T.”Robin” Baker Jr. of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Baker, Michael K. Baker Jr., and Brianna L. Baker; her sisters and brother, Susan Williamson, Pauline Moore and her husband Randy, Gerald Everette, Kathy Ferrell and her husband Michael, Vicky Vaughan and her husband Jeff, and Sandra Cone and her husband Keith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Everette and her sister Judy Brady. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home 2704 Nash St. in Wilson or at other times at the family Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas-Yelverton with Pastor Randy Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. www.thomasyelverton.com.
