LEROY WARD Leroy Ward, 72, beloved husband of 25 years of Carol James Ward, of Wilson, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. Leroy was born in Dillon, SC, October 30, 1943, a son of the late George T. and Agnes Bass Ward and had lived in Wilson for many years. He had been employed by Saint Gobain Company until his retirement. Besides his wife Carol, he is survived by his son, James E. Ward of Florida and his brother, George Ward and his wife Midge of Dillon, SC. He was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Evans and brother, Robert Ward. His family will receive relatives and friends at the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash Street in Wilson, Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 12 noon.
