Middlesex: Milton Earl Carter, age 73, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024. He was the son of the late Harvey Chester Carter and Nellie Langley Carter and was also predeceased by a brother Harvey Chester Carter and a sister Mabel Carter.
Milton was a member of the Army National Guard and Union Chapel Original Freewill Baptist Church. He hung out at Hardee’s, Bojangles and the Mayflower and was a faithful friend to his church members and his friends, taking them to doctor appointments and any errands they needed help with.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Amy Carter and a host of cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2 PM in Union Chapel Original Freewill Baptist Church, 10748 Bissette Rd., Middlesex, NC with Jonathan Pierce officiating. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2800 Nash St. N. Wilson, NC 27896. The family will receive friends from 1PM to 1:45PM prior to the service at the church.
