RONNIE GRAY WILLIAMS Ronnie Gray Williams, 63, of Wilson, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. Ronnie was born in Wilson County, March 13, 1952, a son of the late George W. and Dillie Williford Williams and was a lifelong resident. He had been a driver for Wilson Packing Co. and had worked as a CNA. He leaves his sisters, Brenda Woodruff and her husband Johnny of Wilson, Faye Gordon and her husband Richard of California, and Frances Poland of Rocky Mount; his brothers, Donnie R. Williams and his wife Valeria of Wilson, and Elijah D. Williams of Elm City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Williams and Doris Sutton, his brothers, George T. Williams and Ralph C. Williams, and a special niece, Rochelle Woodruff. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St., in Wilson, with a visitation to follow in the funeral home and at other times in the home of his niece, Dawn Jones at 4431 Rosebud Church Road in Wilson.
