Lois D. Rowe, 92, of Wilson passed away Sunday. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC, with Rev. Josh Preskitt and Rev. Johnny Sullivan officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Lois retired from managing a dry cleaners. After her retirement, she then kept children in her home. She was a member of Daniels Chapel FWB Church. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, crocheting and crafts. Lois loved flowers and being outside enjoying nature. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Willa Rowe Sessoms (Earl), Debora Rowe Ham, and Suzette Pittman (Lynn); seven grandchildren, Renee (Eric), Andrea, Reece (Sheila), Julie (Brad), Christa (Jeremy), Shane (Shanna), and Michelle (Matt); thirteen great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kayla, Sophia, Dylin, Collin, Nathan, Ann-Katherine, Edith, Chloe, Carlynn, Cody, Jason, and Kinleigh; one sister, Janice Dew Whitley, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Rowe; her parents, Levi Duncan and Edna Bissette Dew; four brothers, Elbridge Dew, Austin Dew, Willis Norby Dew and Weldon Dew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Daniels Chapel FWB Church, 4828 Frank Price Church Rd., Wilson, NC 27893.
