Mr. Barber is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Howell Barber, Sr. and Curtis Thornton Barber. Throughout his career he was employed with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier.
Mr. Barber is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Ruby Pierce Barber of Bethlehem; son, Ben (Cathy) Barber of Utah; brother, Roger Barber of Acworth; sisters, Frances Paige of Marietta and Ann Hoshall of Atlanta; and one grandchild, Heidi Edwards.
The graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of B.H. Barber will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Rev. Donnie Pennington officiating. Interment will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Winder.
